Is there a free student version of Modelsim

I'm a hobbyist beginning to learn about FPGAs and was informed on Nandland.com that a free version of Modelsim was available, but I have been unable to find it. Any help appreciated!

Hi,

in Quartus II, version 13.0sp1, ModelSim-Altera is included and you can download it without cost.

Maybe there are higher versions including ModelSim, just check it on Intel homepage.
