Invalid license environment. Application closing. (quartus 21.1)

Unable to checkout a license. Make sure your license file environment variable (e.g., LM_LICENSE_FILE)

is set correctly and then run 'lmutil lmdiag' to diagnose the problem.

Unable to checkout a license. Vsim is closing.

** Error: Invalid license environment. Application closing.

        Hi

        I am trying to use quartus lite ver21.1 ,when I try to run simulation I get " Invalid license environment

        I have downloaded a valide license but still not able to run simulation

      In my case, ModelSim was not installed (It does not get installed automatically with Quartus 21.1 as it does with older versions). After installing it manually and setting the path in Quartus, the problem disappeared.

        I've tried looking for the modelsim installer but I can't find it anywhere. Could you help me here?
