Intel Quartus on MAC M1

As much as I love the Mac, Quartus only runs in Windows or Linux, so you would need a VM. Even then, there have been other posts here of issues with running it on Mx processors.

Based on the documentation available on Intel's OS support page, it appears that the Quartus does not officially support the Mac OS. When an operating system is classified as unsupported, it means that while some functionalities may function properly, others may not.

It is crucial to acknowledge that no resources will be dedicated to debugging or addressing issues specific to the unsupported platform. Therefore, it is highly advised to use the officially supported operating system for optimal compatibility with the Questa tool.
