I have some Altera licenses for a series of IP cores and software packages. Any chance I can work with someone as to what I can do with these? They are fixed licenses on the software side and I need to know if I can use the latest version of Quartus?

Hi, This is the problem. I do not have a license.dat file.

I have an old email from Altera with the instructions how to download the licenses and the license activation code.

The problem is that we never used the licenses at the time because there were issues with Quartus and our design. We are ready to transition some of our designs to a Intel FPGAs and we want to use these tools we purchased.
