16 years agoHelp Using SOPC in Quartus
Hello,
My University here in Ecuador just got a new DE1 development kit with a Cyclone II. I'm completely new with programming FPGAs. I was looking for some help in the internet and I found this tutorial in the web: http://csg.csail.mit.edu/6.375/handouts/tutorials/tut_sopc_introduction_verilog.pdf I made it, but when I try to download it to my FPGA, the design doesn’t work. The project name for this tutorial is lights.qpf, but when I'm generating the file to download it to the FPGA it creates a file with the name ligths_time_limited.sof I get a message of opencore plus status that is using OpenCore Plus IP, with a time remaining message: unlimited. What is the problem? Do I need a license for the Quartus for making an application in SOPC builder? Thank You
