Getting a license for bought Intel Cyclone 10GX FPGA development kit

My company has purchased a cyclone 10 GX dev kit, and I am now trying to generate a Quartus Prime license. Per Quartus FAQ

The development kit comes with a serial number that is stated either on the box or a customer letter. This serial number is a license activation code to activate your Intel® Quartus® Prime Software via the SSLC

Within the SSLC, I have tried going to Licenses > Find and Generate License By Activation Code, and entered the Serial Number from the sticker on the package. This resulted in "Error Invalid License Activation Code". Please advise.
