change license type - dongle to NIC (max+plusII 10.0)

I have an old license.dat file used for ALTERA max+plusII round about 2004. As expected, due to different "clean your desk" and "clean storage" actions, the parallel port dongle matching this license seems to be lost meanwhile. (kind of "no longer in use + new notebook hardware lacks parallel port")

Is there a option to change / transfer the license to a NIC based one?
