Cannot Select Device Family Other than Cyclone X

Could you try to install the Quartus in supported OS? It seems that Quartus 24.2 is not supported in RHEL 8.

You can download and check the readme.txt in the Table 2.

Additionally, please check that your machine system meet the minimum Hardware and Software Requirements.
