Can I purchase Intel Quartus Prime Standard 19.1 version license (when latest online is 24.1)?

I need license for Quartus Prime Standard Edition in order to use for Vector VT System FPGA with Cyclone V.

The recommended version for DSP Builder Standard 19.1. So I am expected to use this with Quartus Prime Standard Edition version 19.1 (not the latest) based on this link from vector website

My question here is:

  • Can I purchase Intel Quartus Prime Standard 19.1 version license (when latest online is 24.1? Or is the latest license backward compatible
  • Do I need separate license for DSP Builder Standard 19.1
  • Where can I view the license cost and how can I proceed with purchase?

    • Do I also require Intel Quartus Prime Standard 19.1? Is this a separate mandatory tool for my use case?

    If you're using Quartus Prime Lite 19.1, then not need to purchase Standard version license. Lite version no need license.


    • DSP Builder Standard 19.1 costs $1,995 per year. And there any additional Intel tools (and cost) for same use case

    No so far.


    Isn't it so that recent Quartus license includes also V19.1?

    Sorry for mistaken before. Yes, the license not depends on version.


    May approach the regional distributor for further confirmation on the purchased license.

    Yes, you can purchased 19.1 version license. However, to use v24.1, you need v24.1 license.

    • $1,995 Primary per year
    • $1,995 Renewal per year
