hi, guys and girls. i want to integrate a uClinux into the Nios ii soft cpu.
on my hand, i have a pc with the windows os, and the version for quartus ii is v6.1. the steps i specified follows: 1. to build a linux environment on the pc: i chose and downloaded the Colinux; 2. to prepare the compiler for the uClinux source: i downloaded the nios2gcc; 3. to prepare the uClinux source: where to find the uClinux portage for niosii? 4. to recompile the uClinux: 5. to compile the root file system: 6. to design/modify the bootloader: so my questions are: 1. the procedures above are correct and enough? 2. do i need the cdk4nios for the uClinux integration? i saw some information about the cdk4nios. 3. where to find and download the uClinux portage for nios2? on the uClinux.org, i can not find the desired port for nios2, 4. could u give me some information about the uClinux recompilation, or what to do 4 recompiling the uClinux source code? 5. could u give me some information about the colinux installation and configuration? i have downloaded the colinux ver 3.0, and specified the debian linux, but after successfully debian downloading from the website and colinux installation, i can not start the colinux. 6. how to configure the debian or gentoo 4 colinux? 7. could u give me some information about the bootloader design? any idea and suggestions are welcome, thanks.
