nios2configgen for qsys?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to generate eCos configuration

out of the design done in Qsys.

I was able to successfully generate working eCos examples

which come with nios2ecos.

However they are based on SOPC builder generated ptf file,

which is not supported by Qsys.

Is there available an utility similar to nios2configgen, but for Qsys?

Thanks.

Michal

AFAIK this tool has never been ported to the new build environment based on .sopcinfo files. So if you plan to use eCos, you are stuck with SOPC Builder, or you need to port the tool yourself.

    Ok, thanks Daixiwen.

I suspected that as it seems, that eCos discussion here is virtually dead.

Anyone knows why the eCos is no longer supported?

Has it been replaced with another thing?

    Am I missing something?

I just think that no one is working on it currently. The original port wasn't done by Altera, or even officially supported, it was just made by someone that needed it.

Yeah, I switched my design to SOPC builder...
