nios2-elf-gcc: not found

Hello everybody,

can somebody help me solving the following problem:

When trying to build a project I'm getting the following error message:

- nios2-elf-gcc: not found

When executing the command "nios2-elf-gcc --help" in a bash shell

I get a normal response.

Regards,

    need some more info.

but first, sounds like a path problem. Did you install anything after NiosII and Quartus?

    If so, re-install Nios II

I installed software in the following order:

    - Quartus 4.1 + SP1

    - Nios II 1.0

    - uC Linux 2.6 distrib 1.1

    - Application plug-in patch

    + reboot between all installs.

Problem occurs on Win 2000 as on Win XP.

it'll be the uclinux install. Something in there trashes the Eclipse setup.

I should note that this isn't really their fault, Nios II didn't put out any guidelines for how a plugin should get installed.

I'm making this short, sorry if it sounds like an alarm. It isn't meant to. This was discussed in another thread.

Try installing Nios II again. I think that was the answer.

    Kerri,

re-installing Nios II wasn't the solution.

Starting the NIOS IDE from the SOPC Builder was the solution

    for my problem.

    Thanks for your support!
