Nios II/f subscription Availability in 2025
Hello,
We have recently evaluated and purchased an IP core from a vendor. During evaluation we did not realize that it incorporates and requires a Nios II/f for which our Quartus Prime Pro 23.2 installation produces Time-Limited SOF files, as opposed to Nios II/e which is unlocked.
We would like to know if there is still any way to license Nios II/f, assuming we continue using an older Quartus version where it is still present (Quartus Prime Pro <= 23 I think).
If it is not possible to acquire the Nios II/f core, our IP purchase and several months of related HW design may be wasted.
Thanks,
Keegan
Hi Keegan1,
The license is available for free on the self service licensing center for older versions of Quartus: https://licensing.intel.com/psg/s/?language=en_US.
