does somebody know whether it is possible

to get the Nios II-VHDL source code.

There is an ASIC license avialable. What

Yes, it is possible to get a license file which will emit a clear text version of the Nios II processor for use in an ASIC flow. While Nios II is royalty free for use in Altera FPGAs, I have no idea what an ASIC license would cost. Probably the best thing for you to do, if you're interested in pursuing an ASIC with Nios II, would be to contact your local sales guy (Distributor or Altera) and ask them.

Eight_ball is right. You can request the clear text license from Altera. If it is for an ASIC project you will need to work out the details with an Altera rep. ASIC is not included in the standard Nios license, but we do have a negotiable ASIC agreement for those who need to go down this path.
