--- Quote End --- Yes, it is possible to get a license file which will emit a clear text version of the Nios II processor for use in an ASIC flow. While Nios II is royalty free for use in Altera FPGAs, I have no idea what an ASIC license would cost. Probably the best thing for you to do, if you're interested in pursuing an ASIC with Nios II, would be to contact your local sales guy (Distributor or Altera) and ask them.
