Hi superstyle1,
I tried to start the same way like you. Here's what to do: download lwip1.0.0 from the download section and try get the webserver design exmple up and running. Then download the following document: www.sics.se/~adam/lwip/doc/lwip.pdf try to understand the working of the lwIP stack. Then use UDP or TCP, whatever you like the most Good luck.
