Help whith installing Quartus 2 Web Edition

HEy Guys I downloaded the Quartus 2 web Edition but when I try to Download from the installer it pops out this Message: 

pcmagas@pcmagas-netbook:~/10.0sp1_quartus_free_linux/altera_installer/bin$ altera_installer_cmd -a -w --download --temp=/home/pcmagas  --remove_temp --target=/home/pcmagas
Error: There was an error connecting to the Internet. Please verify your proxy information and ensure your computer is connected to the Internet.
How can I solve thiw problem I am already online and I do not use proxy so tell me what to do?

I install that in Ubuntu 10.04

    This forum is for running Linux on Nios and not for running Atera programs on Linux, so if nobody comes up with comments, here, you might be better off asking in another Altera Forum.

    if you downloaded it, why not just installing it (without the --download parameter)?
