1. In other words, the normalized range is -1..+1, and the average should be around zero?

3. Magnitude, this is in my understanding sqrt(real² + imaginary²), should be already positive?

4+5. 20*log10(magnitude) should give the same result?

None, except this: How do you get a result range of -360..-180, and why do you think, -360 is larger than -180 ("increasing")?
