What are the differences between Altera SGDMA and Wiki Modular SGDMA?

Dear all,

What are the differences between Altera SGDMA Controller Core and Wiki Modular SGDMA Dispatcher Core (http://www.alterawiki.com/wiki/modular_sgdma)

They seems to have different APIs. What about their structure? Which one is better?

Also Windriver has APIs to control SGDMA too. When writing programs which APIs to use?
