VIP: Self configuration DVI-In possible?

Hello,

is it possible that the CVI is configured by itself? I'm thinking about a system were to connect "any" DVI source with different resolutions... Or is it possible to build an own logic which generates the required parameters for CVI component by analyzing raw DVI data?
