VIP handling of Interlaced video

I am struggling with the processing of interlaced NTSC video using the VIP 9.0 cores, and hope someone here can give me some advice. My project needs to take two NTSC interlaced inputs from ADV...

interlacing was created a lot earlier than video capture devices. ;)

i think it was created to compromise between flicker and bandwidth.
