Hi,

Thanks for the offer, but I think I can do it in a reasonable time (I do not need a very generic one, which simplifies the design). But I am also changing my microcontroller firmware to not reset the video decoder during a mode change. I this case I believe the video decoder will not abruptly change the clock. If the input cable is unplugged, the decoder PLL will just coast on. This will probably also fix the problem. If it does not work I will continue with my own version.
