Using Altera IP Cores within Windows XYZ

Hi,

general question about ALTERA IP-Cores.

1) Lets say I built up a system using 2 Ethernet IP-Cores and one PCIe-Core connect them to avalon bus within the FPGA. On the other side I conncect PCIe from FPGA to an x86 CPU running with windows.

Are there ready drivers for using the Ethernet device within windows?

2) Does anybody have experiences with more functions within a FPGA (e.g. two ethernet or sth. else). Do drivers (in general) need several PCI-functions (multifunction) for each IP-Core?
