TSEMAC without NIOS II

Hi all,

I have a design requirement where in the incoming serial data from 3 independent source have to be converted into Ethernet packets and sent out. For this i can use TSEMAC configured for multiport MAC.The Ethernet packets sent out will be processed on a system which supports TCP/IP. I need to know if its possible to use TSEMAC with Interniche stack software without using NIOS II processor? If yes, what all things we need to take care and design complexities.Please let me know..
