Stuck while building the VIP Example Design

I think I just figured out a workaround based on the comments about needing to have admin rights.

My login to my vista machine has admin permissions. It just does not invoke them unless you explicitly tell it to do so.

Quartus was unable to locate the VIP primitives because vista was keeping them hidden.

What I did was right click the short cut to quartus 8.1 on my desktop and hit run as administrator.

Now I no longer receive the undefined entity errors about the VIP primitives.
