Honored ContributorYou can't use the standard blockset inside an advanced blockset design. You can do it the other way around however. See chapter 11 of http://www.altera.com/literature/hb/dspb/hb_dspb_adv_ug.pdf (http://www.altera.com/literature/hb/dspb/hb_dspb_adv_ug.pdf).
