SerialLite IP Core at lower rates

The SerialLite II IP Core can be used on devices with integrated transceivers only. They support rates from 622 Mbps to 6.375 Gbps.

However due to bandwidth limitation of our transmission lines, we cannot go higher than 100 Mbps.

AFAIK, the first version of this IP Core (SerialLite) was available as a soft solution that could be used on virtually any FPGA and was able to support lower rates. Does anyone know how to obtain the first version of the SerialLite IP Core?

Or is there a way geting the SerialLite II to work at 100 Mbps data rate?

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I have a slite-v1.0.0 version (shipped with Quartus V5.0) and it's aid to support rates of 500 Mhz to 3 Ghz with Aria GX. See the user guide below. I wonder which MegaCore version you're refering to?
