problem with making ddr2 controller for a specific memory device

hello

i want to make a ddr2 high performance controller for a specific device : MT47H64M16-3 from Micron using megawizard .

this memory device is not in the megawizard devices list and i have a problem with customing one of the other devices for my needs.

the main problem is that i need to use Burst Length of 8 and i can't change this parameter by customing another Micron device (it only let me choose "4" is Burst Length).

how can i make the controller to use Burst Length of 8?

can i just use a preset with burst length of 4 and then specify a different burst length in the "local_size" signal?

    You should be able to set it to 8. First select a similar memory from what is available in the list and save it with your memory name. Then open than and if you click on the burst value, you can set it either to 4 or 8.
