Missing documentation for Altera Avalon-MM Efficiency Monitor and Protocol Checker

Hi,

Looks like Quartus 12.1 has upgraded avalon-mm monitor to avalon-mm efficiency monitor and protocol checker core. But could not find any documentation regarding the new version of the core.

Is it available to the public?

    Not yet. I heard that if a core is in beta version, chances of finding documentation is very less. Probably we will have to wait for response from Altera representatives.

    hmm that's too bad. FYI i've just tried to instantiate the core in my Arria V design on Quartus 12.1 sp1 and then it comes back with a huge error in some sort of script...

    I think beta version would be a nice name for it indeed;)
