Megafunction

Is all the megafunction provided doesn't allow simulation using third party simulator(modelsim altera) ?

FYI, i am using NCO to generate sin wave.

I face an error like "....Opencore time limited file" when trying to do EDA netlist writter.

Any idea to solve it?

thx

Do you use the Web Edition ?

It seems that you have no licence to generate non time limited files.

You cannot generate a timing simulation netlist for your design without a valid license file. However, you should be able to use the functional simulation models generated by the megawizard.

I use the web edition. I am able to perform functional simulation and timing simulation using quartus II, yet not modelsim simulation.

    Thanks

in the megawizard don't forget to go to step 2 (setup simulation) and check the Generate Simulation Model box and your preferred language. you'll then get a .vho or .vo which you can compile in your ModelSim simulation in place of the encrypted HDL for the actual NCO.
