Hey all,
I want to add FFT IP to my project. When I choose FFT v.7.2 from MegaWizard Plug-In Manager->DSP->Transforms->FFT v7.2 the screen blinks and show me the same window again. I am using Quartus 7.2 32bit, Windows 7 64bit. Does anyone know how can I solve this problem? Thanks Ahead9 Replies
Altera_ForumAre You expecting a normal operation using such an old version of Quartus on Windows 7? Man... Forget it, get the newest one.

I believe not. AFAIK there is Quartus 10 SP1

Quartus 10 Web Edition is free to use and You don't need any illegal software.

AFAIK its forever. If not, You have to update the license every year or so and continue using the software as before. Check the license agreement.

As I know the license generated up to your MAC, and its for limited time. So the license is not endless.
