IP for serial communication????

Hi all,

I am doing a project on the serial communication,I wanted to know an IP in the Altera suitable for it,,,

I am looking for an IP with can produce the differential serial lines.... as the output serial line by

accepting the parallel data at the Input of the transceiver.......

Will the ALT2GXB is having the above characteristic.......or any other IP suggestions????????
