how can I use signal tap with IP core (not free)?

hello

I want to use signal tap II , there is a FFT IPcore in my program ,now i don't have license,when i run the time limited sof with JTAG,there is a wndow said cancel the IPcore use I can't control the signal tap window without chloseing that window ,if i close that window, is the IP core stop working?

    I'm not sure if this still works, but you could open a new instance of Quartus and run the SignalTap from there
