DSP for power converters control

Hello!

I am develloping power converters with the conventional DSPs.

I believe that I can make a wind power converter control with an FPGA with DSP IP core.

I am wondering what will be the best part or FPGA family that is best suited for this application?

Any comments?

    You would mostly use economic parts, e.g. Cyclone III family.
