DSP builder/Vhdl suggestion

Hi.. i have daughtercard tvp5146, its output is 8bit in YCbCr 4:2:2 formate. i want black & white image at VGA output, thats why i have to zero the Cb and Cr part in YCbCr. i want only Y compo...

Hi Tricky!

i have read in AN:427 that the format of YCbCr is

Y Cb Y Cr Y Cb Y Cr.

Further i want to enhance 4bit of Y to 8bit that.....

can you help me, please!
