D5M Camera Interface

I am unsure what is the accurate title of my question.

I am a bit lost.

So I'm working on a project that requires me to take image from D5M camera, and then the image will be processed by a convolution algorithm designed by myself and then the output will be through VGA.

I have created the design by using DSP Builder and then tried hardware-in-a-loop and it's working fine, but currently the input image was from matlab. All I need to do is to change the input image, from matlab to the D5M camera. But I am not sure how to integrate my design with the camera. Do I have to change my design entirely or can I just like communicate the IP of the camera with my design?

Can anyone enlighten me?
