Cyclone V and PCIe PIPE interface

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to use the PIPE feature of a Cyclone V GX (I'm using Quartus 13.0).

When I was using a Cyclone IV GX, the PIPE interface was available through the ALTGX IP Megawizard.

This IP has presets to configure the transceiver for PIPE interface.

Now, with the Cyclone V GX, I can't figure out how to configure the transceiver for PIPE interface.

Any idea ?

Altera support told me Cyclone V devices do not support the PIPE PHY IP (and it is not planned). Only Arria V and Stratix V support the transceiver PIPE mode.  Franck.

Is there a way in Megawizard to generate soft core that can be connected to PCIe PIPE interface?  Thanks, Alex
