16 years ago --- Quote Start --- Yes, I figured it out. The example project I was building was supposed to have been compiled by Altera under Quartus II 8.0. I'm sure it did. However, the designer probably still had 7.2 installed on his/her computer. Some of the megafunctions were from 7.2 and still referenced the old path. So they wouldn't compile on my computer. The error message was fairly cryptic. Hmmm, maybe I also had to add a library to the project... the 7.2 megafunctions were archived in a subdirectory but I didn't notice until I'd already taken the other approach. I can't guarantee that's your problem, too, but it's worth a shot. Try recompiling or recreating the megafunctions in your design. --- Quote End --- I'm having the same problem. However, I'm new to NIOS II, and have never used the MegaWizard or SOPC Builder. Can someone please instruct me on how I would "recompile or recreate" the megafunctions to work with 9.0 and my DE2_70 Development board? Thanks a ton in advance! -Jorden
