16 years ago --- Quote Start --- You may be able to use a Farrow filter --- Quote End --- Right. Also the above linked Audio Sample Rate Converter block diagram uses it. It's obviously providing asynchronous rate conversion, e.g. 44.1 to 192 kHz. It's part of the AES3/EBU Reference Design, that can be obtained from Altera. Also a reference design for the AN347 farrow rate converter is available. http://www.altera.com/support/refdesigns/sys-sol/wireless/ref-resampler.html I'm not working in the digital audio business and can't say, if the third party IP utilized by Xilinx possibly has better performance in any regard. But as SingMai suggested, you may want to ask the supplier, if he supports Altera FPGA, too.
