Altera Remote Update IP core - max 10?

Hello

I noticed that Altera Remote Update IP core does not support Max10. I am using quartus 15.0. Does anybody knows if Altera plan to add max10 device support for this IP

    You can contact your local FAE to see if they have insight on the future IP plan on this. Alternatively, you can file a service request to Altera.

    Hi,

    No, Altera Remote Update IP core is not supported in Max10 devices. Instead, MAX 10 is using Dual boot IP which has the similar features with the remote update. MAX 10 can only be configure via internal configuration which does not require any external flash memory to store the configuration bit stream. The dual boot IP can configure the MAX 10 with 2 different images via internal configuration mode. Thus MAX 10 does not require Altera Remote Update IP.
