Algorithms used for divider sqrt core?

Hi there, a quick question. what algorithm is used for divider, square root megacore? thanks

If it takes 1 clock per output bit (two input bits) then I'd guess the 'schoolboy' method that looks a bit like long division.

It doesn't take much extra logic to do division or sqrt together.
