Agilex® 7 P-Tile Multi-Channel DMA Debug Toolkit isn't working in Quartus® v22.4

It appears that there is an issue with the Agilex® 7 P-Tile Multi-Channel DMA Debug Toolkit in Quartus® v22.4, specifically when used with Gen4 1x8 configurations. The problem results in a timeout error when attempting to open the Toolkit. However, it seems to be working fine with Gen4 1x16.

The good news is that the problem is acknowledged, and a fix is planned for a future release of Quartus® Pro software.
