Xilinx .XCO = Altera's ???

When creating an IP with Xilinx a .xco file is generated that lists all of the parameters the core uses. Does Altera generate a similar file?

I can't find one. The closest thing is the Matlab file when "some" information can be obtained.

    matlab has nothing to do with what you are after.

    Unlike the mess of xilinx and its cluttered files. Altera generates a vhdl wrapper (or verilog) and can be used for synthesis or sim
