USB cyclone 3 starter board

Hi all, I'm using Altera cyclone 3 starter board... can i use USB port for pc application (What should I have to add in SOPC and in the application)?

No you cannot.

The USB connector is only for programming the FPGA.

The signal flow is: from the programmer software through the cable and the USB connector to the CPLD on the board which contains the equivelent of the USB-Blaster POD code - the output of which is a JTAG connection to your FPGA.
