sopc unsolved error

Hi I installed quaruts 9.1 on my new computer the installation was fine but when I try to built a nios core there was the next error # 2010.05.07 16:10:26 (*) Running Generator Program...

Quartus 9.1 does not support windows 7! I've had to reinstall XP. The SOPC builder gave me random errors when building video bits. I even tried running all executables in 'XP' mode, but ran into a whole different set of problems.
