Quartus II 7.2 and NIOS II 7.2

I have a project that uses Quartus II 7.2 and NIOS II 7.2 IDE and I want to know how to run them together. I need to know the steps that I have to do because, after I complite the project in Quartus and try to open it in NIOS(with switch workspace), the project won't open.
