Thanks, Richard. As I will be teaching this same class next semester, we will try Questa Standard (free). Does it require a license? Our IT department has not yet resolved the installation issue; Windows rejects the expired certificate. There was a workaround for the BIOS. But still left some workstations not installed correctly? Our last resort was to install ModelSim on the laptops, but it had issues.

additional: User guides can be found in the ModelSim or Questa docs/pdf folder.
I see that there may be a reason to stay with Quartus/ModelSimASE 20.1 for your courses to avoid license installation issues.

Thanks, we have had too many issues with this 20.1 version, we are opting to go with the latest 25.1 thanks
