Problem with configuration EPC2 via Jtag

Hi!

my problem is that i can't configure EPC2 via JTAG with USB-blaster with pof - file, but with jam or jbc it can be configured. Quartus says: "unexpected error code 44".

Well, i installed 1k pull-up resistors on TDI, TMS pins and 1k pull-down resistor on TCK pin. VCC and VPP are 3.3V, VCCSEL and VPPSEL are also 3.3V

Any suggestions?

When you use configuration by JTAG, the correct file is .SOF that is downloaded into FPGA. The .POF is downloaded into eprom, but in this case you have to download using active serial connector.

You apparently don't know EPCx enhanced confíguration devivces, that are some kind of legacy today. They can be actually programmed by *.pof files through JTAG.

Unfortunately, I have no idea regarding the original problem.

I think you didn't understand what I said. When using EPCx configuration devices, you program them using .pof files but you can't use jtags pins from FPGA. The .POF files are written inside EPCx configuration devices and are transferred to FPGA when the boot is done.

Hey! I configure eprom via USB-blaster and i don't use FPGA JTAG-pins! And what are you talking about active serial programming? Do you understand, that EPC2 can't be programmed in active serial mode?

Moreover, all i want to know is what does "error code 44" means!
