OS support

Can I load Windows CE on any CycloneIII system?

I wanted to know the loading Windows CE or other OS into any NiosII system. For example, if I build a NiosII processor system based on CycloneIII FPGA. Can I load Windows OS into this system (Hardware)

    In theory you can, but the reality is you would need to be very skilled in order to 'port' a BSP and low level drivers.

    There are currently several varients of Linux that can be 'hoisted up' on a NIOS II hardware platform in a Cyclone III FPGA.
