Looking for faster solution using FPGA (new to FPGA)

I have a project that is using a microprocessor running at a 50MH to sample some analog data. I'm finding that the processor isn't fast enough to give me samples at the timings I need. I looked up some information and I know that if I used an FPGA I could get the readings at the timings I need. However, when looking at the boards Altera offerers I'm not sure how to choose.

I basically need an FPGA that can read analog signals, do some calculations based on the signals and then spit out some analog signals based on those calculations. Do the boards have the DAC and ADC on them or will I need to buy them separate?
